About Self Insured Reporting
We are a data analytics firm that primarily uses Microsoft Excel to populate vast amounts of health insurance claims and eligibility information. About the Role
In this internship you will be assisting with the processing, loading, and analyzing of data from hundreds of Third-Party Administrators and Pharmacy Benefit Managers. You will use our proprietary Excel based workbook and Oracle based platform to perform quality control on our client’s data. With guidance from our Senior Data Analysts, you will have all the tools and information you need to research issues, discover new efficiencies, and organize the raw unfiltered data we receive into clean output files which are loaded to a client’s dashboard.

About You
We are looking for a candidate to be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel. Any knowledge in medical billing or health insurance is a big plus. Having an interest in large data sets, organization, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills are important. Also, the individual must be self-motivated and have an ability to work on projects with the team in a timely manner. Moreover, you understand the power of qualitative data and are excited to work with a team that prides itself on being able to bring scrubbed and polished data to a client quickly and efficiently.

Additional Requirements
The position will require an ability to successfully work remotely or with minimal supervision after first couple weeks of training. Self Insured Reporting will supply the hardware and software as well as security protocols to the intern. We will provide appropriate training for HIPAA/HITECH compliance and internal processes with data sets during the first week of internship. As a result, the intern will be required to sign off on a Non-Disclosure Agreement form as well as remote work agreement. The intern will be reporting directly to Alex Ortiz-Abreu and is expected to adhere to a mutually agreed to work schedule. The schedule will be reported and managed by our Zoho CRM Software to accurately provide correct pay for the applicant.
