The founders of our company are comprised of underwriters and prior employee benefit consultants managing self-insured benefit plans for employer clients. As consultants ourselves, we knew all too well the pressures that could mount when reporting ongoing financial status to our clients.
Most benefit consultants use some type of excel template, but even in doing so the manual process remains cumbersome. The reporting often looks outdated, doesn’t have appropriate graphs, and doesn’t generate financial projections such as estimated costs for the remainder of a contract year and renewal. Then came an idea . . .
What if we could build an automated system that took the monthly claims data for our clients and automatically generated a myriad of reports? Accurately – without the need to constantly move things around and change formats. What if we could even project to our clients their estimated contract year costs as well as renewal costs, each and every month.
